When can you be contacted by telephone?

Our store hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time Monday though Friday. We are also open Saturdays from 12.30 AM to 4:00 PM between September 1 – May 31.

Do you offer products or brands other than those shown on the web site?

Our web site shows only a small selection of the merchandise available at our store location. Please contact us by telephone or e-mail if you would like information about any of our other fine jewellery.

Do you sell watches on your web site?

At the present time, most watch manufacturers have issued policies restricting authorized retailers from promoting or selling their products on the Internet. Do you offer a gift-wrapping service?

We provide a gift box and silk pouch with all purchases. Complimentary gift wrapping is available upon request.

Do you offer an appraisal service?

Lou Goldberg Jeweller will provide insurance, estate, fair market valuations and/or collateral appraisals on any jewellery or timepiece. Please contact us by telephone at 1-514-935-4612 or by e-mail at for more information.

How often should I have my jewellery appraised?

In general, most fine jewellery should be reappraised at least every three years. If possible, have your jewellery appraisals checked annually for currency, just to be sure you are adequately covered. Most appraisers will keep records on file, allowing them to quickly verify whether a full re-evaluation is necessary. If the most up-to-date jewellery appraisal you have is more than four years old, you should consult an appraiser for an update. You should also consider having photographs taken of your jewellery.

Can I have my jewellery engraved?

Any jewellery that you purchase from our retail location or our online store can be engraved at no extra charge.

What is your return policy?

We are committed to guaranteeing your satisfaction. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return it to us. All merchandise must be unworn, undamaged and presented with the original packaging and original receipt. Returns must be sent to our store:

A refund will be made to the purchaser upon request providing payment has been received. Gift recipients are entitled to a nonrefundable merchandise credit.

Will I be charged tax on my purchase?

For orders shipped to Quebec – 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) and 7.5% PST (Provincial Sales Tax) will be applied. For orders shipped to Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territories – 5% GST will be applied. For orders shipped to New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia – 15% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) will be applied.
